The certification auditor will ask the following regarding internal and external communication in ISO 9001:
- What the organization communicates.
- When the organization communicates
- With whom the organization communicates.
- How the organization communicates.
- Who in the organization communicates

Some questions that the ISO 9001 certification auditor can ask during the certification  audit regarding the monitoring and measuring resources are:
- How do you plan your internal and external communication?
- Who is the responsible person for internal and/or external communication?
- Which methods do you use for internal and external communication?
