The key requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are organized into seven clauses: Context of the organization, Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance evaluation, and Improvement. Compared to the previous version, ISO 9001:2015 introduced a risk-based approach, eliminated mandatory procedures, and added clauses about the context and interested parties. It also expects more commitment from top management and no longer requires a management representative or a quality manual.
